READY WHEN THE TIME COMES
Ready When the Time Comes is a corporate volunteer program that trains teams from local companies and organizations in Red Cross disaster response operations. Teams will be called to action if and when a large scale disaster, such as a hurricane, affects the Broward County area. MATCHING GIFTS
Many companies will match the donations made by their employees and their spouses and retirees. Your company may increase or even double your gift to the American Red Cross of Broward County. Please check with your Human Resources or personnel office to determine if your gift to American Red Cross qualifies for a matching gift from your company.
DISASTER GIVING FOR CORPORATIONS
In response to disasters, the American Red Cross can work with you to develop an employee giving campaign for your employees throughout the company. We can provide a focused solution for your employees to support the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, providing information about the work of the Red Cross, an online form for contributions, and tracking to report back to your headquarters.

OTHER CORPORATE GIVING IDEAS
Many local businesses hold casual day or jeans day and the proceeds are donated to the American Red Cross, Broward County Chapter. When employees make a donation for dressing in jeans or casual clothes, the Red Cross can provide the HR department with stickers or buttons to give to the participating employees.
Another option is to pick a month to give to the American Red Cross. For example, a company could chose June and host various fundraisers to benefit the chapter. Employees could hold bake sales, plan a jeans day, hold a raffle and sell tickets, auction off the CEO's parking space or even sell donuts in the morning for a donation.
