Equipment needed to conduct your Red Cross training is available for rental or purchase through Health and Safety Services.
RENTING EQUIPMENT
The rental fees reflect the costs associated with warehousing and maintaining training equipment. It is our goal to meet your needs in a convenient and efficient manner. If you have special needs, do not hesitate to contact our office.
To reserve equipment and course supplies:
- Contact your local Health and Safety office.
- Plan ahead as far as possible. Our equipment is often scheduled for as much as a month ahead of time. A 2-4 week's notice is preferred.
- Be prepared to request all the items you will need – manikins, books, gloves, decontamination supplies, etc.
Payment options:
In order to meet the diverse needs of our customers, several options for payment are available for rental fees, program support fees and books and materials:
- Option 1 - Pay at time of pick-up. You may pay for any or all of your charges at the time you pick up your books and materials.
- Option 2 - For providers and customers in good standing (no outstanding invoices over 30 days past due) we can direct-bill for orders over $100.00. If your order is under $100.00 and you wish to be invoiced, you must provide a purchase order number.
- Option 3 - Charge--Red Cross accepts MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express.
PURCHASING BOOKS AND SUPPLIES
You have a couple of options when purchasing books. You may contact your local Health and Safety office to place your order. You can pick up your order or have it shipped directly to you. Additionally, you can order you books directly from StayWell at www.shopStayWell.com. Orders from the StayWell website will include shipping and handling charges.
ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS FOR SALE
Your American Red Cross Health and Safety office is also able to provide items such as breathing barriers, first aid kits and emergency preparedness kits. Refer to the website for product pricing and order information.
